Expanded to 18 holes for the 1998 season the exceptionally tight, tree lined fairways put water in play on just about every hole. The large greens are all well protected by water and/or sand. The 450 yard 13th hole is a deceptively difficult par five, with a creek crossing the fairway about 80 yards in front of the green on this dogleg left, and offers long hitters an opportunity for birdie. |

The Old Course measures 6622 yards, with lush, tree-lined fairways and extremely small greens (and water is non-existent). The par 4, 1st hole has trees lining both sides of the 397 yard fairway to a frugal bunker-protected green. There are four par 5s of 500 yards or more, and the 541-yard, 6th hole is one of the longest and arguably the most difficult hole on the Old course, with a sharp dogleg right.
The New Course is longer at 6645 yards with water coming into play on five holes, and with contoured greens. The first hole is a short 481-yard, par 5, with a slight dogleg left, that is reachable in two. The 7th hole, a par 5 dogleg left, is a distant 588 yards making it virtually unreachable in two. The Signature 192-yard, par 3 9th hole has water guarding the front of an undulating green with mounding to the back of the hole hiding three well-placed bunkers, leaving no alternative but to land your ball on the green. |
